In March, Loudon County Habitat for Humanity (LCHFH) received a $2 million gift from author and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott—the largest single gift in our history.

From its very first day, Loudon County Habitat has been all about volunteers. In fact, it was nine years into the affiliate’s life before there was any paid staff and even then, it was a part-time position.

This past Fall, one of the biggest projects that Loudon County Habitat for Humanity took on was the Houses and Hope Breakfast. An annual event for the past seven years, it came with a brand new set of challenges.
