About Us

More than just swinging hammers and building homes.

Our Mission:

Seeking to put God’s love into action.

Loudon County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We are a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that works to eliminate poverty housing in Loudon County. We welcome individuals from any faith — or from no faith — who are willing to pick up a hammer to help improve the lives of families needing decent shelter.

Areas of Focus

Advocacy

We Believe that everyone should have a safe, affordable place to call home. Habitat’s path to homeownership is an in-depth process, requiring hard work, time, and dedication. Habitat homeowners pay an affordable mortgage and their payments are cycled back into future projects.

Faith Relations

Critical home repairs that enable senior citizens to move around safely inside their homes and complete the routines of daily living. Our goal is to help senior citizens or disabled individuals continue to live in their own homes longer and maintain their independence.

Tithing

Energy Efficiency

Energy-efficient homes promote sustainability and reduce long-term utility costs for our homeowners. Our practices include high-quality insulation, energy-efficient appliances, and eco-friendly materials to create comfortable, cost-effective living spaces. By focusing on home efficiency, we not only support families in achieving affordable homeownership but also contribute to a greener future for our community.
