DESCRIPTION:Bridges Out of Poverty is a workshop that helps us understand the challenges faced by families living in poverty and  how it shapes the interactions and experiences of a person’s every-day life.  It offers solutions that are practical and strategic.  \nBridges Out of Poverty takes the concepts of  hidden rules of economic class and uses them to help us understand the unique and sometimes hidden obstacles that individuals from poverty face. Loudon County Habitat for Humanity is pleased to present Special Guest Speaker Tina Brown Hyman and Bridges Out of Poverty on May 29th and 30th.    \nJoin us for one of these presentations:  \n\nWednesday May 29th from 10am-2pm at Community Church at Tellico Village (registration begins at 9:30 am). DESCRIPTION:Join us for an energetic evening on the shores of Tellico Lake featuring Second Wind\, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting our charity partner Loudon County TN Habitat for Humanity. This adult rock band\, with horns and full rhythm section\, will cover music from Chicago\, Earth Wind and Fire\, Stevie Wonder\, Aretha and many more – plus delighting us with some original tunes. \n\nGeneral admission seating; please bring lawn chairs.\nLimited veranda seating – tickets require separate meal purchase from the Tellico Village Yacht Club.\nLimited parking at the Yacht Club. Shuttle service will be provided. (See FAQ section for more details.)\nDrinks/Food available for purchase from the Yacht Club.
